Our history

The Centre d’animation mère-enfant (CAME) was created in 1984 by Madame Francine Boivin-Garbugli and other mothers who chose to stay at home to shepherd the development of their young children.

They organized meetings and activities with the goal of breaking the isolation and offering an opportunity for communication, exchange, relaxation and even support to the members. Over the years, the organization has adapted to the needs and reality of today's parents. For a few years now, CAME has also had fathers as members!

The CAME is recognized by the City of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, as well as recognized and subsidized by the Ministère de la Famille. It is a member of the AHGCQ and of the Table de concertation de la petite enfance et des personnes démunies de la Vallée des Patriotes.
